Nature:

Appearance: white crystalline powder.

Purpose:

1. Often used as an activation reagent in biochemistry and organic chemistry, it can form n-alkylimide or n-alkoxy imide with amino or hydroxyl compounds.

Preparation:

The common method is through the synthesis of agarose, the reaction of agarose and sodium hypochlorite to get hypochlorite agarose, and then the reaction of hypochlorite agarose with aminosuccinic acid to get the product.
