Application:

1. The primary product of this product is widely used in polyurethane coatings. In addition, it is also used in waterproof materials, sealing materials, pottery materials, etc.; polyurethane foam made of this product is used as parts for thermal insulation (cold), building materials, vehicles, and ships. ; Refined products can be made into car bumpers, buffers, synthetic leather, non-plastic polyurethane, polyurethane elastic fiber, non-plastic elastic fiber, film, adhesive, etc.

2.MDI is the general name for 4,4'diphenylmethane diisocyanate (pure MDI), a mixture containing a certain proportion of pure MDI and polyphenylpolymethylene polyisocyanate (polymerized MDI), and modified products of pure MDI and polymerized MDI. , is the most important raw material for the production of polyurethane. A small amount of MDI is used in other aspects besides polyurethane. Polyurethane has the elasticity of rubber, the strength and excellent processing properties of plastic, especially in terms of heat insulation, sound insulation, wear resistance, oil resistance, elasticity, etc. It has advantages that other synthetic materials cannot match. The sixth largest plastic after ethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and ABS (now surpassing ABS to become the fifth largest plastic), it has been widely used in national defense, aerospace, light industry, chemical industry, petroleum, textile, transportation, automobile, medical, etc. fields, becoming an indispensable emerging material for economic development and people's lives.
MDI and TDI are substitutes for each other and are both raw materials for the production of polyurethane. The price of MDI is slightly lower and its toxicity is lower than that of TDI. However, when producing foam, the density is higher than that of the TDI system. The moldability of polyurethane products formed by MDI is relatively good.
