Established in 2005, Zhangjiagang Hicomer Chemical Co., Ltd. (HICOMER) is a high-tech enterprise engaged in research, development, production, sales and service of electrolyte additives of lithium-ion battery; at present, our company is located in Zhangjiagang City (a national health and civilized city of China), with a land of 80,000m2 and a total investment of CNY 80 million.
Zhangjiagang Hicomer Chemical Co., Ltd. invested and established a wholly-owned subsidiary-Huai'an HICOMER New Material Co., Ltd. in Hongze Economic Development Zone of Huai'an City in 2014, with a total investment of more than CNY 100 million, a land of of about 46,690 square meters and more than 200 employees, and more than 30 of them are technicians. Under the supports of a multi-functional research and development center, five automated control production plants and warehouses, and other supporting facilities, we have the production qualification and capacity of lithium-ion battery's electrolyte additives such as vinylene carbonate (VC) and fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC), etc. Our Nantong production base was officially put into service in early 2016 according to the arrangement of our production capacity.
Our business now is getting growth continuously: As a world's leading supplier of electrolyte additives, we establish a sales network spreading Southeast Asia, Europe and North America as well as covering more than 90% of lithium battery electrolyte manufacturers in the world. Our customers include Guotai- Huarong, Ube Industries, BYD, Tianjin Jinniu, Capchem and other well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers. Typical end products are: electric cars, mobile phones, portable computers, tablet PCs, MP3s, power tools, GPS navigators and electric bicycles, etc.
Our company places great importance on technological innovation, and is committed to research on new technologies in the target field. At present, we have established extensive cooperation with Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2016, Zhangjiagang HICOMER Chemical Co., Ltd. established the Suzhou Lithium Battery Electrolyte Additive Engineering Technology Research Center. In 2017, Zhangjiagang HICOMER Chemical Co., Ltd. founded the Jiangsu Province Enterprise Graduate Workstation. Zhangjiagang HICOMER and Huai'an HICOMER obtained the National High-Tech Enterprise certificates in 2013 and 2018 respectively. Up to now, our company has applied more than 30 invention patents.
