Applications:
① Industrial solvents: used in such products as paints, adhesives, ethyl cellulose, artificial leather, felt coloring agent, and artificial fibers.
② Adhesives: used in production of printing ink, artificial pearls; used as an extractant in the production of medical products and organic acids.
③ Raw material of spices: used as the main raw material for such fruit essences as pineapple, banana, and strawberry, and such spices for whiskey and cream. It may be used in manufacturing spices, and also used as spices for blending of white wines, and as artificial essences.
④ Extractant: extracting various compounds from water solution (phosphorus, tungsten, arsenic and cobalt).
⑤ Organic solvent: used as the reference matter for calibrating hydro thermograph when separating carbohydrate.
⑥ It may also be used as the cleaning agent for textile industry and an extractant for natural spices. It is also an important raw material for pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and organic compounding.
⑦ It is certified by GB2760 - 96 as an allowable food spice. It is mainly used for aroma enhancement, deastringency of persimmon, producing grains or tablets of spices, or used as ingredients for vinegar production.

First aid measure
Skin contact
Remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin thoroughly with soapy and clean water.
Eye contact
Lift eyelids and rinse with running water or saline. Seek medical attention.
suction
Quickly remove from scene to fresh air. Keep your airway clear. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.
ingestion
Drink plenty of warm water to induce vomiting and seek medical attention.
Leakage emergency treatment
broadcast
Quickly evacuate the personnel from the contaminated area to the safety zone, isolate them, and strictly restrict access. Cut off the fire. Emergency personnel are advised to wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and fire protective clothing. Cut off the source of leakage as much as possible to prevent entering the sewer, flood drainage ditch and other restricted Spaces.
Small amount of leakage: absorption with activated carbon or other inert materials. It can also be washed with a lot of water and diluted into the waste water system.
A large number of leaks: build a embankment or dig a pit to contain; Cover with foam to reduce steam hazards. Transfer to a tank truck or special collector with an explosion-proof pump for recycling or transport to a waste disposal site.
preparation
Anhydrous ethanol, glacial acetic acid and concentrated sulfuric acid were mixed for reflux. After cooling, equal volume of saturated salt water was added to precipitate crude ester.
use
Analytical reagents. Determination of bismuth, boron, gold, iron, molybdenum, platinum, potassium, thallium. Chromatographic analysis standards, solvents, detergents. For drying anhydrous sodium sulfate or anhydrous magnesium sulfate. Ethyl acetate can be obtained by distillation with high efficiency fractionator.
security
Rat transoral LD50:11.3 ml /kg. The substance may be harmful to the environment, and special attention should be paid to water bodies. It is irritating to the eyes, nose and throat. Inhalation in high concentrations can cause slow and progressive anesthesia. Containers are sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire, heat and oxidants. Warehouse temperature should not exceed 30 ℃.
